Famed Seattle Rock Group CUSTOM Releases ‘V’ Album

For the past nineteen years, rock group CUSTOM has been known as a leading voice in Seattle’s music scene. The group is made up of David Lyon on vocals, Paul Yarnold on bass, and Brian Cochran on drums, along with Corey Petro and Scott Bickham on guitars. The group brings back nostalgic guitar rock with an added signature twist.

As run-of-the-mill headliners at Hard Rock Café in Seattle and national tour crowd pullers, CUSTOM showcases their natural and skilled knack for conjuring influential sounds from rock and pop, metal and punk, blues, and even classical. This ever-evolving phenom is prominent in the group’s new project ‘V’ (fifth album release) with production by Jonathan Plum (guest vocalist and guitarist on King Alice) and Matt Guillory as guest pianist on ‘Finis Omnium.’

The 10-track album instantly won listeners over, not just Seattle fans. J.Smo says “The entire album RAWKS! Best listened to at maximum volume, air guitar nearby cause you’ll want to shred. Make sure to stretch your neck muscles, the head nods and headbangs will come uncontrollably! Favorite track: Do It Again.”

Although it’s difficult to pinpoint favorites off the album, as each track adds a heightened sense of core-pulsating intensity, Snakes in the Grass and He Should Be Dead do stand out. Lyon offers an uncanny vocal deliverance on lessons learned and calling people out, something everyone can relate to.

Throughout the album’s entirety, listeners will feel ferocious vocals spewed over addictive frequencies for a hair-raising, headbanging experience. Get a copy of the album on Bandcamp and other streaming platforms and connect with CUSTOM below.
