Serious Matters Release “Glitches” Single and Video

Serious Matters, alternative/post-hardcore music group, release their latest single and video “Glitches” available now on digital platforms which follows their 2020 “Mistaking Wasps For Dragonflies” release. The group based out of Union Beach, NJ is made up of Matt Sandelman on vocals, Kenny Byles on vocals and guitar, Criss Madd Jr. on guitar, Daryian Kelton on drums, and Michael Seltzer on bass.

This song was put together in separate entities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so not everyone was together all at the same time until we hit the studio. The music video is all of us finally being in a room together again, recording the song and enjoying being around each other for the first time in a year.” – Kenny Byles

The video begins with shots of each member doing what they do best on the drums, bass, and guitar. Haven’t seen each other in the flesh since quarantine the sounds exude an intense cinematic flow. Although the video displays the group enjoying their time together and making music, the track itself is about finding the courage to speak up for yourself when you need to let go of disloyal people. These folks will cause you to feel as if you can’t catch a break with one foot in the grave. Every word they spew comes with matching movements and actions.

The hard-core electrifying blend of instruments with fueled vocals heightens the message and raw emotion felt throughout the video.
