Multi-Talented Artist J.R.P. Seriel Releases New Solo Album “Oasis”

J.R.P Seriel announces the release of his new solo album titled “Oasis.” The 16-track album displays his multi-faceted talents as a singer, songwriter, poet, and producer. He’s been releasing eclectic projects, (5 albums) since 2021 and “Oasis” can be noted as his best piece of work thus far.

“Neptune” sets the album off with smooth, gentle vocals that flow over a hypnotic backdrop with textures that emanate heartbeats. “Medicine” is driven by an instrumental arrangement laced with trippy melodies. The song is about accepting life is like a puzzle and at times is full of misery which causes a reaction to beg for medicine to begin the healing process.

“Everything Is Everything” hits with more of an upbeat tempo with catchy harmonies and positive vibes. Seriel sings about allowing oneself to shine to ignite that spark back into the eyes. He reminds us to embrace our imperfections as we are all a work of art. “Moonlight” piggybacks with a theme of not fearing the future, the moon, and all its glory will lead the way.

“Watertown” is an instrumental steered with a kaleidoscope of mesmerizing sounds. It leaves a window open for inward searching. In “Gypsies” Seriel mentions moving in the world as gypsies or being seen as time travelers which can hinder us from looking in the mirror. “Footsteps” similar to the other songs as Seriel invites listeners into his thoughts and somberness, does stand out. Heavy footsteps hit the ground to find a destination where inner scars can fade behind the clouds and erase raindrops in his eyes. This hunt almost feels impossible.

“Carousel” is about relationships and how sometimes we go round and round spinning. Even when we know it’s time to get off the carousel we continue on the ride. The song also stimulates with dance/techno accents. “Soldier” is an uplifting, self-motivating song. Seriel lets the world know that he is unique, and special and moving towards a new foundation. He’s strong with his thoughts and determination to march to his own beat. Cosmic, clapping sounds underline his message.

“Sunset” like sunrise is the ideal setting to heal from grief and devastation. The way the sun radiates the skin and how the ocean speaks is tranquil and serves as a soothing comfort. “Choir Of Emptiness” celebrates pain which seems odd until the song is thoroughly heard. To create change or to make a difference we must acknowledge and let go of the pain. Find a great space to dance in, and become the ocean’s gatekeeper.

In “Come Alive” Seriel brings to light fear and insecurities and what happens when we can’t see ourselves clearly in the mirror. At times it will have us question our mission in life, which leads us into “Oasis.” While looking in the mirror share a story, your story. In doing so tensions will begin to fade and self-expression will begin to open. Seriel’s ballad encourages us to step back and take a breath.

“The Miracle” outpours like a Sunday sermon while Seriel is praying for his soul. The album’s finale “Drowning In Silence” paints a vivid canvas of living day to day filled with tears, and losing one’s self with the weight of silence. In the song, Seriel also offers a ray of hope for tomorrow and countless possibilities.

In this 16-track solo album, Seriel invites listeners into his reality, which everyone regardless of background, age, upbringing, etc can relate to. His songs offer raw emotions with scales of harsh truths fused with hope and strides toward greatness. Each song is different in style, production, and deliverance set to keep audiences engaged.
