Denver, Colorado Artist White Devil Announces The Album Release of ‘Year of the Tyrant’

Independent artist White Devil announces the release of his new album titled ‘Year of the Tyrant.’ The 10-track project, appropriately titled, is not for the light at heart as the Denver, Colorado native exposes and exploits harsh truths that surround us, globally. He shows off his mastered skillset of weaving together movie and news excerpts with hardcore vocals and instruments so audiences are forced to feel the gripping effect.

“It’s Gettin’ Heavy” commences the album with an intense, upbeat tempo brewing with a fusion of dance and hard rock. Chilling instruments knock through the record and set the tone for what’s to follow. “Intubation” serves more as a rock medley with guitar strumming and busy drums leading the story of distress and uncertainty from the news and from people about the Coronavirus.

In “40 Days” audiences will succumb to a dark, demon-like vocal deliverance that exudes horror film moments. The rapidness of the record is steered by pulsating, clapping drums. The tempo slows down a bit in “You, Too” which fixates on chilling instrumental arrangements. The record is about how the presence of women affects men and their unfulfilled desires.

“T” is an ear-shattering, fearful record about multiple personalities. The background sounds of screaming, despair, and rage are hair-raising. How do you survive or escape the horrors of personalities battling each other? “Cunt” begins with a man somewhat defining the word/phrase. Fierce drums and bass heighten the intimidating vocal performance.

“Vesticate (Stop Feeding the Whore)” stresses the contamination from chemical warfare, which resonates throughout the record to create an ominous shadow. “Hades Sharpens His Teeth” immediately gives off mosh/rave energy that’s encompassed by an addictive dose of musical hell.

“Between the Lines (A Special Message from Q)” is a record that although hits heavy with infectious head-shaking, it conveys a pivotal message, that needs to be heard and digested.

The album’s finale “Boogaloo Boogie” is a catchy multi-genre mix of sounds and instruments. The record offers a better understanding of White Devil (fitting artist persona) as a musician and to grasp his uncanny, potency and ability to express the world’s flaws and impact on people.
