Canadian/American Band Hello Fiasco Debut ‘Find The Shoreline’ Album

Pop/Rock band Hello Fiasco announce the release of their debut album titled ‘Find The Shoreline.’ Previously released on Spotify the album has surpassed 1,000,000 streams and has been added to over 2000 playlists. The 12-track album, available everywhere on August 4th, is an influentially moving body of work that touches on love, trust, worry, pain, accountability, and prominent reminders to live in and for the moment.

‘Find The Shoreline,’ co-produced by frontman Eric LaBossiere and award-winning Canadian producer John Paul Peters, can be coined as an emotionally intense display and collision of rock vocals and cinematic instruments. Each track varies in tempo and storytelling while the kaleidoscope of drums, keys, guitars, and bass underscore the emanating raw energy. The band, frontman Eric LaBossiere, Joel Couture (bass), Joel Perreault (lead guitars and backing vocals), Ivan Burke (drums and backing vocals), and Guy Abraham (keys, Ableton, and backing vocals) exude infectious and unmatched chemistry between vocals and music.

“It Makes Sense” kicks off the album and it’s about not feeling or being satisfied in one’s life. As humans, we want to do everything over again, and live out our dreams over again and in different ways. It seems we live to only want more. “Hold Me Close” (watch the video below) is a relatable song about relationships. How can two people keep love fresh, like the initial meeting that sets off a wildfire of chemistry and attraction? We all want to be held as if we are the only ones. “Before Time Leaves You,” although softer in tempos hits hard with a much-needed wake-up call. Take time out to look at the sky, kiss the stars, and create memories. Before time escapes us, we need to do what we love with who we love.

“You Don’t Want Love,” another eye-opener about relationships conveys how signals get crossed leaving one confused about their stance. A typical tale of drinking at a bar, unwinding from the week, and a man spots a woman with crazy hair and dangerous eyes. Does he want the white picket fence with 3 kids or are his intentions more casual and friendly? Without honesty, the heart can be at a standstill. “Gorgeous Girl” is a song celebrating women who take advantage of their beauty. Men will drop everything for them, pick up the phone with hopes it’s her on the other end, allow themselves to be walked all over, and become smitten by fake laughs.

“Listen to Me” pulls on emotional strings and our way of thinking (as do all 12 tracks). This song is about fear, the fear of being alone once everyone leaves or is gone. Loneliness ignites a cold sadness, and we crave verbal stimulation to eliminate that. “Atlantis and Compatible” features Erin Propp and gives listeners a perspective on healthy love from both partners. There will be times when minds are spoken that lead to fights and feelings will be tested. However, most times it’s matches to fire, tables to chairs, and bridges to water.

“Chess” serves as a metaphor for the lack of reciprocation in a relationship. How can one say they care when their energy and actions don’t match their partner’s? One will travel the world while the other will not and are able to look into the other’s eyes without any shame or guilt. “Words Are Fast,” another heavy-hitting song, ultimately describes how we speak before we think. Words spill out of our mouths like bullets and cause genocides of casualties. The words kill but anger pulls the trigger.

“Worried Sick” is something we all experience when it comes to those we love and hold closest. We dwell on dangers hidden outside and if our loved ones are in harm’s way. When the phone rings after midnight an immediate blink can freeze us to the core. That love can be for a partner, family, friend, etc.

“One Phone Call” stresses accountability. How one can continue to make harmful choices that ultimately affect others. At what point is enough?  A phone call to say sorry is not enough.  A dozen roses are not enough, and meaningless excuses are not enough. “Trust” wraps up the album with the most impact leaving audiences with much to think about. It’s said that trust has a certain sound and a more intense sound when it’s broken. Trust, something so simple, yet complicated for so many, can truly throw someone over the deep end while others revel in pain. Are you the trusted one or the one breaking trust?
